amir rasoulpour, immigration attorney and rif LEGAL TEAM MEMBER

Amir is an attorney on RIF’s legal team. He graduated from CUNY School of Law where he was a Haywood Burns Fellow in Civil and Human Rights. He has worked at New York City-based law firms and practiced immigration law as a staff attorney at the AIDS Center of Queens County. He continues to provide pro bono immigration assistance with various non-profit organizations, including RIF. Amir’s family immigrated to the United States from Iran and his childhood was enriched by growing up as an Iranian-American. Observing daily how immigrants both integrate into and contribute to the United States, Amir has spent his entire professional career in service of immigrants.
